Directions

If arriving in Stornoway take the route out of town onto the A859 (The main road to Tarbet). From the Tarbert or Leverburgh Ferry terminals take the A859 in the Stornoway direction. Signposts are often in the Gaelic spelling so look out for village signs for either Laxay or Lacasaigh.

Travel either from:

  • The Isle of Skye to Tarbert in Harris
  • Or North Uist to Leverburgh in Harris
  • Or Ullapool on mainland Scotland to Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis
